Central Ayurveda Research Institute started in 1979 and functions under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. We focus on clinical research inAyurveda. We cater to the health care needs of the general public besides conducting research on various illness conditions in priority areas of the country. This Institute is a 50 bedded hospital with fully equipped Panchkarma section, Leech Chikitsa section , Ksharsutra Chikitsa section (Ano-rectal unit) and Laboratory for Pathological and Biochemical Investigations.
