It was started as a small clinic in 1923 by Poozhikkal Kunjahammed Musliyar . He was a social worker as well as a physician who started 4 primary schools. After his period Dr. Poozhikkal Ibrahim Haji and Dr. Poozhikkal Hussain headed this who worked as Medical Officer in Government organization.
The inpatient facilities in all these centers were named as Dr. P Hussain’s PKMM Ayurveda Hospital in Malappuram. In the meantime a manufacturing unit was started to cater to patient needs at Edarikkode.

It includes 5 procedures ; they are Vamana, Virechana, Nasya, Vasti, and Raktamoksha. It strengthens the immune system by restoring balance and improving the well being of mind and body. Almost all illnesses mentioned in Ayurveda need purification, which is attained through Panchakarma treatment.
