Gardoussel Retreat formerly called The Sun Centre located at Gardoussel et Laquet is nestled in a 45 acres estate of meadows at the edge of a river and woodland and mountains. The land is both open and closed,soft and hard, bright and shaded. So there are plenty of places for meditation, reading or sunbathing.
Gardoussel’s predecessor, The Sun Centre, was started in 2001 ,a space where people could let go, relax and learn or develop tools for self-awareness, in beautiful natural surroundings. Our integration of various traditions and methods into our daily life is to make our guests feel the experience.Gardoussel Retreat regularly conducts Ayurveda workshops,Ayurveda courses, Ayurveda correspondence courses and Ayuryoga training organized by the European Institute of Vedic Studies.
Guests are accommodated in our holiday apartments and independent, suite bedrooms. We have 2 holiday apartments for rent with us on an independent basis.We do serve delicious Ayurvedic meals prepared using fresh vegetarian ingredients, and served on our terrace with stunning views of the valley in cooler weather. We use local produce mostly organic and whole grains not to mention local wine. Breakfasts are self-service continental-style.
